Dublin poker is played in private members' clubs; you join at reception on your first visit.
- Dublin Poker Club & Casino, 3 Fairview Strand, Fairview (Dublin 3), is open 6pm–6am every night. A tournament starts at 7pm every night, with buy-ins from €55 to €150 and guarantees of €2,000 to €2,500; it also spreads Hold'em cash games. Buses 14, 15, 27, 42 and 43 stop nearby at Fairview. Membership is free.
- The Sporting Emporium, Anne's Lane, just off Grafton Street (Dublin 2), opens daily from 8pm and runs cash games Wednesday to Saturday: no-limit Hold'em from €1/€2 (€50–€500 buy-in), PLO and Round of Each, up to €5/€5/€10 PLO. Its site lists no regular tournaments. Dawson Street Luas (Green Line) is three minutes' walk. There is a one-off membership fee, returned as non-refundable bets for the gaming tables, and €1 is taken from every pot of €20 or more for its cash game league.
- JP Poker Card Club, opposite the Shamrock Rovers stadium in Tallaght (about 14 km from the centre), runs a 7pm tournament every night (€80–€150, late registration to 10pm) and cash games nightly from a €50 buy-in. The Square Tallaght bus and Luas stops are a minute away, and parking outside is free. Membership is free, but first-time visitors need proof of address as well as photo ID.
The Fitzwilliam Card Club closed in December 2019 and no longer runs games.
The big annual event is the Irish Open, held around Easter; the 2026 edition ran at the RDS.
