Playing poker in Paris checked October 2026
Live poker in Paris is played in private gaming clubs (clubs de jeux), not casinos. Entry is free for adults (18 and over) with a valid ID. Foreign visitors should bring a passport, and non-EU visitors may be asked for proof of their right to stay in France. Neat, casual dress is fine.
Where to play
- Club Circus Paris, 37 boulevard Murat (16th, near Porte de Saint-Cloud): the busiest tournament schedule, with an event most days at roughly €100 to €400. No-Limit Hold'em cash games start at €1/€2 and Pot-Limit Omaha at €2/€4.
- Club Barrière Paris, 104 avenue des Champs-Élysées: cash games plus two afternoon tournaments a week, around €200 on Tuesday and €250 on Thursday. It hosts the Barrière Poker Tour's Paris stop.
- Partouche Pasino Club, 10 avenue de la Grande-Armée (Metro Charles de Gaulle–Étoile or Argentine): opened in May 2026 with a large poker floor, cash games and several tournaments a day run with Texapoker. It hosts big series such as the WSOP Circuit Paris.
- Club Pierre Charron, 62 rue Pierre Charron (8th): cash games only, Hold'em from €1/€2 and Omaha from €2/€4 up to high stakes. No regular tournaments.
- Club Montmartre, 84 rue de Clichy (9th): Hold'em and Omaha cash games at €5/€5 and €5/€10, open from 8 pm.
- Paris Elysées Club, 34 rue Marbeuf (Metro Franklin D. Roosevelt): Texas Hold'em cash games alongside table games, open from 5 pm.
Not for poker: Imperial Club Paris (13th) offers house-banked games such as Ultimate Poker, with no Hold'em against other players.
The European Poker Tour's Paris stop is played at the Palais des Congrès in February.
What to bring: a passport or EU ID card, and euros for buy-ins.
