Playing poker in Praha checked October 2026
Prague's main poker room is King's Casino Prague, inside the Hilton Prague at Pobřežní 1 in Karlín. Florenc metro station (lines B and C) is about 350 m away, and trams 2, 3, 8, 23, 24 and 92 stop at Florenc.
Tournaments run on a weekly cycle: a Saturday Monsterstack (€100) as the big weekend event, a Sunday knockout, beginner events on Monday and Tuesday, cheap satellites on Wednesday and a Thursday mystery bounty. Prices are in euros, from €20 satellites up to about €100 for the main weekly events. Mini-series fill some weeks, such as the Česká Pokerová Tour at €200 and a November series at €80.
Big festivals: EPT Prague is played at the Hilton each December, and WSOP Europe came there in spring 2026. Many festivals on the King's website, such as the WSOP Super Circuit, are played at King's Resort in Rozvadov, not in Prague, so check the venue before you book.
Cash games at King's start at €2/€4 No-Limit Hold'em (minimum buy-in €100) and €5/€5 Pot-Limit Omaha, with higher limits on request.
Casino Ambassador on Wenceslas Square 5 (Prague 1) is a smaller room priced in crowns: No-Limit Hold'em from CZK 10/30 (minimum CZK 1,000) and PLO from CZK 50/50. It charges a CZK 250 registration fee on your first visit and accepts only an original passport or EU ID card.
Entry: 18 and over, with a photo ID or passport. King's asks for casual dress and does not allow sportswear or shorts.
What to bring: your passport or ID card, euros for King's and crowns for Ambassador.
