When a session ends, its page asks four short questions: how it went, what happened in a line or two, one thing to work on, and which hands to look at again. It is optional and takes about two minutes, and it only appears on sessions you log yourself, never on imported history. What you write is saved to your journal, and the thing to work on becomes a focus point.
Focus points that come back
A focus point returns on a fixed schedule: two days after you add it, then after five, ten, 21 and 45 days. Each time it comes back you call it Fixed, Still a leak, or Snooze for a week. Still a leak moves it to the next step, and a point that is still there after the last step closes on its own. The Review page keeps everything in four tabs: due today, open, hands and resolved.
Checked against your results
On the Auto-Insights page, Track this turns a leak into a focus point: a room, a game, a day of the week, a session length or an opponent where you lose. When it comes due, PokerCharts reruns that check over the sessions you played since and tells you whether the pattern is still there, and at what rate. It waits for at least three relevant sessions before it says anything, and the result is a signal to weigh, not a verdict.
Hands you meant to look at again
Tag a hand Review later and it waits on the Review page's Hands tab, one tap from the replayer, until you mark it reviewed. When something is due, the dashboard shows it above your filters, and the morning email or notification you get for planned sessions mentions it too. The Session reminders setting covers both.
Common questions
How do I review a poker session?
Keep it short enough to do every time: how you played, what happened, and one specific thing to change. Two minutes after each session beats an hour once a month. PokerCharts puts those questions on the session page and turns the one thing into a focus point that comes back later.
How often should I revisit a leak?
Soon, then less often. A first look after two days catches what is still fresh, and the widening gaps after that (5, 10, 21 and 45 days) show whether the change stuck once you stopped thinking about it. Every focus point follows the same schedule, so you always know when one is coming back.
Can PokerCharts tell me a leak is fixed?
It can tell you whether the pattern still shows in your results. For leaks tracked from Auto-Insights it reruns the check over the sessions you played since, once there are at least three of them. Small samples swing, so treat a clean check as encouragement and keep the point open until the results hold up.
